What you Need to make this EASY Baked Catfish Soufflé:

  • 1 lb catfish fillets cut in one in pieces
  • 4 tablespoons flour
  • 1/8 tbsp nutmeg
  • 3 eggs separated
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1/4 cup cracker crumbs

Step- by step How to make this recipe:

In a small saucepan melt butter

Add flour gradually rotating with milk

Let thicken and add seasonings

Allow to cool slightly

Transfer to mixing bowl

Add beaten egg yolks and catfish

Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites

Turn into a grease casserole dish

Sprinkle with cracker crumbs

Bake in oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit 45 minutes to 1 hour
